Science is about observing the world around us in order to gain a greater understanding of how it works. Having personally completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) with a major in neuroscience and 1st class honours in pathology I've developed an ability to analytically appraise circumstances and interpret what a scientific study really says. I'm also 4 years into a journey with cancer that has given me an amazing education in life and a first hand experience of what it's about.
So with my background I'm now trying to regularly write and bring together what science has found with what a patient experiences; in order to help anyone out there who's life journey has taken them down the road of cancer.
I hope you find these articles easy to read and informative. All my sources will be from peer-reviewed medical journals and I'm confident will stand up to the scruitiny of any doctor or professional. I'd love to hear any feedback from you or if you had any areas that you would like researched let me know!
